How to sign up as a Locum
The LocumBase platform is not like any other traditional recruitment platform because we provide you with a flexible calendar in which you tell us when you’re available. You also provide your own hourly rates as well as the location in which you want to receive locum offers.

How to set your availability
Once you have your profile up and running, you want to set your availability on your personal calendar. This means telling us when you are free to Locum so we know when to contact you.
This will also display in the search results of a Practice’s profile when they’re searching for a locum based on the days that you have marked yourself available.

How to show you’re booked elsewhere
As much as it is important for you to tell us when you are available to receive Locum offers, it is just as important to tell us when you are not available. So, instead of marking your days as “available”, you would mark them as “unavailable”. This could be anything from being booked elsewhere to just simply taking a break.
It is as important to tell us you are not available to prevent Practices from sending you booking requests on days you are not available and to also prevent us from contacting you for days that you are not available.
